Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) at a regional medical facility in Western Colorado. This position involves providing compassionate and clinical care during labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care for a diverse patient population. The RN will work rotating 12-hour night shifts, including weekends, with opportunities for call rotation, supporting an expanding obstetric service.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends; call rotation typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks, subject to change.
- Required Qualifications: Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license to practice in Colorado; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) with Stable status; ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift; minimum of 0 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; valid Colorado address at least 75 miles away from the facility; flu vaccine required by October 2026.
- Additional Information: Position requires RN Charge experience; out-of-state agencies must register with the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (CCU). Candidate must verify Social Security Number and Date of Birth in Medefis to avoid onboarding issues. The position is urgent and open for travelers with limited planned time off.
