The position is represented by CNA and offers an opportunity to work in a community-focused facility setting.

Job Details:

  • Location: Templeton, California
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Night Shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week, rotating shifts
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Graduate of a school of nursing
    • Minimum of 2 years recent acute care RN experience in labor and delivery or a related specialty
    • Current RN license in California
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor within 6 months of hire or transfer
    • AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course completed on hire and every two years thereafter
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with LDRP (Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum) care model
    • Knowledge of AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring course (to be completed within 6-8 months if new to L&D)
  • Additional Information:
    • Actively participates in hospital committees such as Shared Governance
    • Promotes excellent patient, family, and team communication
    • Maintains professional licensure and certifications as required by state and hospital policies
    • Demonstrates safe practices, infection control, and effective communication with colleagues
    • Supports hospital policies and procedures, including safety and environmental standards
