Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurse position available in a high-volume, high-acuity healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized obstetric care to a diverse patient population, including postpartum treatment following delivery and management of high-risk obstetric patients. The assignment offers flexibility between 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour night shifts, with a duration of either 13 or 26 weeks based on traveler preference.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts; minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid license with a compact license in hand at submission; at least 2 years of experience in high-risk obstetric care, including magnesium sulfate therapy and postpartum hemorrhage management. Certifications required: BLS and NRP.
  • Preferred Qualifications: EPIC experience is mandatory; JADA experience is preferred.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must have postpartum and labor and delivery unit experience, including handling a census surge and managing a 4th couplet. Previous charge experience is advantageous. Candidates should be able to handle high acuity patients and respond effectively during census surges. Successful applicants will be expected to work 3 of the 5 major holidays and may be required to float between nearby sister facilities. Note that candidates must have a valid local radius of 50 miles.
