Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Department position for a healthcare professional providing clinical care as part of an interdisciplinary team. The role requires expertise in high-risk and high-acuity labor and delivery settings, including circulating responsibilities and experience in high-volume delivery centers.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week; every third weekend. Assignment dates are 11/23/202602/22/2027.
- Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience; high-risk experience; circulating experience; high-acuity experience; experience within the previous year at a larger, high-volume delivery center with 200300 deliveries per month; active Iowa license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) fetal monitoring certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Multiple completed travel contracts; Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience with EPIC STORK.
- Additional Information: The healthcare professional will contribute professional and clinical knowledge to the provision and management of patient care. Postpartum floating is not required.
