Join a leading acute-care hospital in South Lake Tahoe, CA, renowned for its commitment to community health and exceptional patient care. This facility, established in 1963, serves both residents and visitors to the scenic Lake Tahoe area, providing a comprehensive range of services including a Level III Trauma Center, emergency care, and specialized labor and delivery services.

As an RN in the Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit, you will be part of a dedicated team in an 8-bed unit that handles approximately 300 births per year. The facility focuses on safe delivery practices, with no deliveries occurring before 35 weeks of gestation, ensuring the highest standards of care for mothers and infants.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery.
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
Assist with labor management and delivery procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on labor and delivery processes.

Requirements:

Current RN license in California.
Previous experience in Labor & Delivery preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
