Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery Department (L&D) registered nurse (RN) position is located in an acute care healthcare facility. This role involves providing comprehensive, holistic care to customers during the labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. The RN is responsible for executing standards of nursing practice including assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure high-quality customer experiences.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027
  • Required Qualifications:
    • 2+ Years of labor and delivery (LD) experience
    • Fetal monitoring experience (American Heart Association or ARC) interpretation experience
    • Circulating for C-sections experience
    • Newborn, adolescent, and adult nursing experience
    • Epic electronic health record experience
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC)
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
    • Documented experience with Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) standards
    • Documented STABLE certification
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Fetal monitoring (Elect Electronic Fetal Monitoring - EFM)
  • Additional Information:
    • Clinicians must list prior work history with respected organizations on their resume
    • Candidates should include RTO (Request for Time Off) requests at the time of submittal
    • Profile must include a current skills checklist (pertinent to the specialty, current within 1 year), work history, and two supervisory references with dates of employment
