Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position located off the scenic Oregon Coast. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for obstetric patients, supervising nursing staff, and collaborating with healthcare teams while utilizing critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent discretion in a busy healthcare environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; experience in an acute care facility preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor required; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from approved vendor required; S.T.A.B.L.E Certification required; Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (INTFETAL) required
- Additional Information: The nurse will collect and analyze patient data, develop and implement care plans, collaborate with families and healthcare teams, participate in discharge planning, delegate duties appropriately, and provide education to patients and families. The role emphasizes safety, patient-centered care, and teamwork in a scenic coastal community.
