Job Details

  • Location: Los Angeles area, in a facility with 9 Labor, Delivery, and Triage beds, and a team of 43 staff members including nurses, OB Technicians, and unit assistants.
  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), experience with fetal monitoring, at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience, including circulating C-Sections, vaginal exams, and postpartum care.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should have excellent critical thinking skills, strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with scrubbing OB procedures, EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring), and certification in either IP-Ob or EFM are preferred.
  • Responsibilities include managing labor and delivery, postpartum recovery, OB triage, outpatient testing (NST, CST, BPP), and obstetrical emergencies such as hemorrhage and hypertensive disorders.
  • Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP.
  • Dress code: Navy scrubs.
