- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and AWHONN Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM).
- Preferred Qualifications: Over 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, Transition Nurse/Baby Catching skills.
- Unit Information: Labor beds - 11, obstetric emergency evaluation, OB post-anesthesia care unit, operating rooms.
- Patient Ratios: 1 RN/2 patients, 1 RN/1 patient.
- Equipment: GE fetal monitoring systems.
- EMR Systems: CPN, Meditech.
- Typical Procedures: Non-stress tests (NST), cervical exams, managing labor, titrating medications, McRoberts maneuver.
- Personality Fit: Loves organized chaos and handling multiple patients.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Weekend and on-call shifts may be required to support unit needs.
