Job Summary:

Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Tallahassee, Florida. This is a 12-hour day shift opportunity requiring float coverage across related units. The role involves circulating and recovering from C-sections, with a focus on immediate newborn care and ECG interpretation. Candidates must have at least two years of specialty experience, preferably with LDRP or mother/baby units. The position offers an immediate start date and requires adherence to a set schedule including weekend and call shifts.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour days, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Schedule: Days; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Florida or Compact license; AHA-American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); AWHONN-Advanced Fetal Monitoring; EPIC experience required; minimum of 2 years of specialty experience, ideally with Labor & Delivery or mother/baby experience; strong ECG interpretation skills & immediate newborn care experience; prior travel not required.
• Additional Information: Orientation scheduled every Monday; EPIC training necessary during second half of the day at orientation, with testing available; successful test-out may exempt full training. Floating as needed to related units including NICU or PICU may be required; no block scheduling or Tallahassee address restrictions permitted.
