Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) Marinette, WI. This role involves providing specialized care for obstetric and gynecologic patients within a Level III Trauma Center. The position requires delivering high-quality care to expectant mothers, including managing labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal assessments.

- Position Description:
Provides specialized nursing care within the Labor and Delivery Department, managing antepartum, postpartum, and newborn patients, with experience in NSTs, triage, postpartum and newborn assessments, and nursery care. - Required Qualifications:
BLS, NRP, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certifications; minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; at least one shift of orientation; experience with laboring patients, GYN surgeries, antepartum, postpartum, NSTs, triage, postpartum, and newborn assessments/care; current licensure. - Schedule:
Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. - Additional Information:
Support within the department includes assistance from a charge RN who takes patients as needed, RN blood draws, bedside and nurse station FHM monitoring, with no telehealth involvement. The unit operates with EPIC electronic medical records, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing. Floating to inpatient units may be required as a sitter or CNA. Orientation includes at least one shift to learn flow. The staffing includes every other weekend rotation, and on-call schedules vary based on contract. Holiday RTO can be approved up to 7 days. Scrub color is flexible, and parking is available in designated spots in front of the building or near the Emergency Department.
