Job Summary:
This is a Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a short-term acute care facility. The role involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum with the potential to float between units such as mother-baby and antepartum. The position requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including day and night hours, with on-call responsibilities and weekend rotations, supporting high-risk obstetrics and neonatal needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of experience in labor and delivery, BLS certification, and AWHONN Intermediate certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-risk obstetrics, fetal monitoring system proficiency.
• Float: Float to other units such as mother-baby and antepartum based on clinical needs and skill set.
• Additional Information: Must have reliable transportation. Travelers may be required to float to other units and facilities in order to meet the organizational needs, with notice provided when floating to specific locations. Respond to RTO and scheduling requests during submission; flexibility is essential. Candidates are expected to commit to working three of the five designated holidays.
