Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position available in the department. This role involves evaluating patients, assisting physicians with patient care, and developing individualized plans of care for obstetric patients. The nurse will perform therapeutic nursing interventions, manage patient care, and ensure documentation aligns with clinical standards, all while supporting evidence-based practices in a dynamic clinical setting.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM, three shifts per week, every other weekend required, three out of six holidays required, with no on-call or float requirements
  • Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing), Advanced AWHONN (Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) or Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM) certification, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, BLS (Basic Life Support) by AHA, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), a minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery and Antepartum nursing, and experience with newborn care
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for providing patient-centric obstetric care, supporting evidence-based practice standards, and coordinating through initial and ongoing patient assessments. Scrubs are provided in navy blue.
