Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) Region's largest and most comprehensive Emergency Department and Free Standing Emergency Department. This role involves providing specialized care to expectant mothers and their newborns in a fast-paced, accredited healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in labor and delivery, couplet care, LDRP, and some Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, along with intermediate fetal monitoring certification.
Job Details
- Location: Region's largest and most comprehensive emergency care facility
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and intermediate fetal monitoring certification; at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience, including couplet care, LDRP, and NICU; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with common diagnoses and treatments related to labor and delivery.
- Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to obstetric patients, monitor fetal well-being, assist with deliveries, and collaborate with healthcare team members.
- Additional Information: No scheduled call required, but staff may need to float to tasks or secretarial duties if needed, based on patient census.
