Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Department position providing antepartum and postpartum care in an acute care setting. The role requires demonstrated competency in circulating cesarean deliveries, scrubbing for cesarean deliveries, and managing obstetric emergencies.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts; 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience; demonstrated competency in antepartum and postpartum care; competency in scrubbing and circulating cesarean deliveries; experience managing obstetric emergencies; active New York licensure; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic health records.
- Additional Information:
- Acute care setting with Level 3 trauma designation.
- Charting system: MEDITECH.
- No call-off policy applies.
- Written cancellation notice is required 14 days in advance.
- Assignment dates: 11/09/2026 through 02/08/2027.
