Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in a hospital setting. This position involves providing care in a 14-bed unit with a focus on obstetric patients. The role includes working night shifts, with a flexible schedule to meet staffing needs, and float responsibilities to NICU and postpartum units as needed.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state RN license, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, prior travel experience, certification in BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), Fetal Monitoring, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), TN (Trauma Nursing or equivalent), and multistate RN licensure at time of submission.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in obstetrics or labor and delivery.
- Float: Float to helping Hands in NICU and postpartum units may be required.
- Additional Information: Orientation begins on 10/05/2026, with subsequent orientation dates on 10/12, 10/19, and 10/26. There is no scheduled time off from 09/19 to 10/17 due to Epic system implementation. The facility operates with a 1:1 to 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio. Scrubs are provided for clinical duties. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner and GE Centricity.
- Assignment Duration: 10/05/2026 through 01/23/2027.
