Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Oklahoma City. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in the labor and birth unit, supporting patients throughout their childbirth experience. The position is suitable for experienced professionals committed to delivering high-quality care in a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 3x12 hours per week, minimum of 36 hours
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), C-EFM (Cardiotocography - Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications; minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience at a hospital delivering 350-400 births per month; located within suitable commuting distance
  • Preferred Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications are desirable
  • Additional Information: The unit has 15 labor beds, along with 7 antepartum beds and 4 pre/postpartum beds. Patient ratios are approximately 1:1 or 2:1. External fetal monitoring equipment is utilized. The unit requires staff to be adaptable to float to the postpartum area if needed. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical skills in labor and delivery nursing and ability to work effectively within a team. The start date for this assignment is 10/05/2026, with an end date of 01/04/2027.
