Job Summary
A Labor and Delivery Nurse is needed in an overnight shift setting within a healthcare provider. Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 3x12-hour night shifts per week, including weekends (seven weekend shifts in an eight-week period). Night shifts include Friday and Saturday nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited School of Nursing, current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), NRP certification, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing and additional certifications as appropriate for the unit or service.
- Responsibilities include performing health data assessments, delivering health teaching and counseling, executing medical functions, coordinating patient referrals, monitoring treatment plans, documenting clinical care, and utilizing resources effectively.
- Certifications and licensure necessary for practice are required at the time of employment.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
