Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Lebanon, Kentucky. This role involves providing specialized obstetric, gynecology, and newborn care within a community hospital setting. The RN will serve as the primary nurse on nights, ensuring quality patient care for obstetric, antepartum, postpartum, and Level 1 newborn nursery services.

- Shift: Nights; 12-hour shift time, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
- Weekend Hours: 24 hours every other weekend or as needed
- Call Requirements: Rotate call during low census periods
- Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE
- Years of Experience: 2+ years required; no minimum experience specified
- Float Requirements: Float to other units during high volume when census is low on Labor and Delivery
- Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 9
- Patient Ratios: per American Womens Hospitality Nursing Organization (AWHONN) staffing standards
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Meditech and Centricity
- Personality Fit: Women in the community prefer women nurses; professional demeanor needed
- Required Education: Certification/licensure required to work as an RN in Kentucky
- Dress Code: Professional scrubs in any color; T-shirts with nursing themes, blue jeans, or casual wear are unacceptable
