Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in the specialized nursing department at a healthcare facility. This position involves providing high-risk obstetric and labor support within a 23-bed unit, focusing on high-risk obstetric care, fetal monitoring, and maternal patient management. The role is scheduled for night shifts, from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Travel RN L&D / MC Arlington / 7P-7A. The unit manages high-risk obstetric cases, including high-volume OB care, magnesium and insulin drips, and fetal monitoring, operating with electronic medical record systems.
  • Required Qualifications: 1 year travel experience in high-risk obstetrics and labor and delivery, current NRP, ACLS, BLS certifications, and relevant experience.
  • Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 09/15/2026 to 12/15/2026.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high-risk/high-volume obstetrics, obstetric operating room procedures, and high-risk OB care.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be team players who enjoy staying busy and have experience with electronic medical records systems such as CPN/Meditech. Floating within the womens health unit may be required, and candidates must be comfortable managing high-acuity obstetric cases.
