Job Summary:
Lima's local healthcare provider is seeking a registered nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) for a rotating shift position. This role involves providing high-quality patient care to women in labor, including assessments, planning, and delivery support. The RN will function as a first assist and scrub OB nurse, with responsibilities extending to supervising and teaching non-registered staff. Flexibility with work schedule changes is essential for success in this role.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Ohio/OH or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; S.T.A.B.L.E. certification; Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification; at least 2 years of obstetrics experience; prior completion of one travel assignment; proficient work history and skills in obstetrics (criteria current within 1 year).
• Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to function as a first assist and scrub OB nurse.
• Additional Information: Must demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes. Orientation is scheduled for 10/8/2026 through 10/20/2026. Candidates must be able to do varied shifts but will also be reviewed for days or night shifts only. Consideration is given to local travelers residing within a 45-mile radius of the facility, in accordance with Lima's local traveler policy.
