Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• AWHONN Intermediate or CEFM required
• Experience in a fast-paced L&D, maternity, or women’s health setting preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in weekend and call scheduling as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Support newborn care immediately following delivery
• Circulate and recover cesarean section patients
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor
• Collaborate with physicians, scrub techs, and unit staff to support safe maternal and newborn outcomes
• Follow unit procedures, documentation standards, and shared decision-making practices
• Float as needed according to unit policy, with travelers floating first
