Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) Weatherford, TX. This position involves providing specialized care in the labor and delivery unit of a healthcare facility. The role requires delivering compassionate and efficient patient care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods, supporting both mothers and newborns.
Job Details:
- Certifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license. Temporary licenses will not be accepted.
- Education Requirements: RN degree from an accredited program.
- Location Requirements: Must be licensed to practice in Texas.
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or specialty setting.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Skills: Labor and delivery, recovery, immediate newborn care, PACU, C-section, BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), AWHONN.
- Preferred Skills: Ability to scrub C-sections, Meditech experience.
- Additional Information: No float rotation required; candidates must be able to circulate C-sections; adhere to infection control policies regarding attire, jewelry, tattoos, and piercings; scrubs provided by the facility.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates should be prepared to provide proof of licensure and certification upon request.
