  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications. No minimum years of experience required.
  • Unit Information:
    • Location: Overland Park Regional Medical Center
    • Floor: 3rd Floor, Main Building
    • Type of Staff: Day shift with 9 RNs, 2 OB technicians, and 1 unit clerk; night shift staffing based on AWHONN guidelines with 1:1 patient ratio in labor and recovery.
    • Equipment: Fetal Monitoring, Operating Room equipment.
    • Typical Procedures: Vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections.
    • Float Area: Mother Baby, Women's Surgery.
  • Typical hiring profile: Candidates with Labor and Delivery experience preferred; circulation for cesarean section, catching newborns, and antepartum care advantageous.
