Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse needed in the Labor & Delivery Department in Corpus Christi, Texas. This role involves providing specialized care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, supporting high-risk antepartum patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift; 12-hour shift hours; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a registered nurse, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), International Federation of Midwives (IFM) certification, and at least 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Candidates without these skills and qualifications will not be considered for the role.
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Fetal Monitoring (FM).
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit has 19 labor beds, 5 obstetric emergency beds, 3 PACU beds, 3 surgical beds, and 8 antepartum beds, staffed by approximately 55 team members.
  • Typical procedures performed include cesarean sections and cerclage.
  • The unit maintains a fast-paced environment emphasizing teamwork and adaptability.
  • Dress code requires royal blue scrubs.
  • Weekend shifts are possibly four per month, with a mandatory two weekend shifts. No on-call duties.
  • The start date for this assignment is September 7, 2026.
