Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment begins on 10/19/2026 and concludes on 01/18/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid certifications including Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) certification. Candidates must have experience in Labor and Delivery, with additional skills in postpartum care and triage considered advantageous.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in postpartum and triage.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The unit is a Womens Services department providing labor, delivery, postpartum, triage, and Cesarean section circulating. The team uses updated HillRom and GE monitoring devices, with documentation managed through the Expanse electronic health record system. The unit operates with a team of one Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), three registered nurses (RNs), one unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP), and one surgical technician (ST) per shift. The unit emphasizes energetic candidates who are ready to support a new team and adhere to Methodist Maternal and Neonatal policies. Rotating weekends and holiday coverage are required.
