This role involves caring for laboring mothers, assisting with deliveries, and managing post-delivery care for mothers and newborns.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Variable shifts including day and night options, 12-hour shifts, totaling a minimum of 36 hours per week, with scheduled call at least once per month
  • Required Qualifications: Active Hawaii license, BLS & NRP certifications, minimum of 3 years labor and delivery experience, no minimum experience requirement if otherwise qualified, and current licensure status in Hawaii or eligible to obtain
  • Preferred Qualifications: STABLE and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications
  • Responsibilities include providing comprehensive labor, delivery, and postpartum care, utilizing computerized systems such as Meditech and GE/Centricity fetal monitoring systems, and adhering to hospital protocols
  • Candidate must arrive the Thursday prior to start date for required employee health appointment
  • Submission instructions: Eligible candidates should be prepared to meet all requested documentation and licensing requirements prior to assignment start
