Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery Night-shift travel assignment supporting care for neonates, adolescents, adults, and pediatric patients. The role requires travel experience, comprehensive labor and delivery expertise, and proficiency with Epic charting in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The schedule includes six weekend shifts during a six-week scheduling period.
- Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
- Travel experience required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required and in hand at submission.
- Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Intermediate certification required and in hand at submission.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required and in hand at submission.
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required and in hand at submission.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required and in hand at submission.
- Valid Oklahoma or compact Registered Nurse license required at submission.
- Preferred Qualifications: Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Advanced certification.
- Additional Information:
- Patient assignments average two patients per nurse during night shifts.
- The unit averages three to five deliveries per day and includes 12 beds and 24 rooms.
- Responsibilities include labor assessment, fetal monitoring, vaginal and cesarean delivery support, postpartum hemorrhage management, high-risk antepartum care, newborn assessment, neonatal resuscitation, breastfeeding support, intravenous therapy, blood product administration, and medication infusions.
- Epic charting experience is required.
- The role supports patients across labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care settings.
