Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery/Postpartum position requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active IN or compact RN license.

Details

  • Work in a Level 2 OB and Level 2 nursery LDRP unit
  • Unit includes 8 labor beds, 12 postpartum rooms, and 4 special care nursery beds
  • Triages are conducted using labor beds
  • Care spans labor and delivery, triage, postpartum, and circulating in c-sections
  • Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30
  • 13-week assignment

Requirements

  • Active IN or compact RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required
  • BLS certification (AHA) required
  • ACLS certification (AHA) preferred
  • NRP certification (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics) preferred
  • NRP Advanced certification preferred
  • Fetal monitoring competency (Ascension, AWHONN, or Relias within past 2 years) preferred
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Nurses circulate in the OB OR as part of unit duties
  • Radius rule applies and may affect pay rate for local candidates
  • First-time travelers may be considered for this role
