Job Summary
Nurse Manager, Labor & Delivery Templeton. Provides unit-based leadership for clinical services, supervises nursing and ancillary personnel, and supports safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centered care. The position oversees staffing, care coordination, quality improvement, operational concerns, and staff performance.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or an equivalent combination of education and related experience; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification; supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree; five years of technical experience; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification; clinical specialty certification or nursing administration certification.
- Additional Information: Provides unit-based leadership and directs clinical services, personnel assignments, staffing coverage, patient care activities, and team conferences. Supports individualized care planning, patient and family engagement, quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, staff development, policy and procedure updates, equipment readiness, and resolution of patient care and operational issues. Participates in patient care as needed and evaluates opportunities to improve department operations and care processes.
