**Join Our Team as a Charge Nurse in Labor & Delivery!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** L&D RN-Charge Nurse - **Location:** Alaska - **Start Date:** ASAP - **Assignment Length:** 13 or 26 Weeks - **Shift:** 3x12 or 4x12 Nights - **Experience Required:** 1 year in Charge Nurse role (charge experience preferred or willing to train) - **Licensure:** Must possess AK RN license for Auto Offer - **Certifications Required:** - BLS - ACLS - AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced - NRP - **Floating:** May float to like units as needed - **Weekend Requirement:** Every other weekend - **Local Candidates:** Not accepted (must reside at least 50 miles from facility) - **RTO Restrictions:** Time off approved individually upon offer; all requests must be included at submission - **Guaranteed Hours:** 60 hours per 2 weeks, potential call off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks **Unit Information:** - **OB Triage/Testing:** 5-10 - **L&D/Antepartum:** 7-14 - **Unit Overview:** - High-risk labor and delivery unit - 10 OB Triage Rooms and 10 LDR Rooms - 3 OR suites and 4 PACU rooms - Average daily deliveries around 7, often up to 14 patients with inductions and high-risk antepartum - OB Triage averages 4-5 third-trimester testing patients daily with influx of triage patients **Facility Information:** - **Type:** Acute Hospital - **Status:** Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma, USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska - **Total Staffed Beds:** 407 - **Scrub Color:** Provided - **Charting System:** Epic - **Parking:** Free parking available **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
