**Join Our Team as a L&D RN - Charge Nurse!** - Are you ready to take the next step in your nursing career? - Join a high-energy team where your leadership skills can shine! - This role not only offers the chance to work as a Charge Nurse but also allows you to make a positive impact in a fast-paced environment. **Position Highlights:** - **Assignment Length:** Choose between 13 or 26 weeks - **Start Date:** ASAP - **Shift Options:** 3x12 or 4x12 Nights - **Years of Experience Required:** 1 - **First Timers Accepted:** Yes - **Certification Requirements:** - BLS - ACLS - AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced - NRP - **Skills Required:** Charge experience preferred or willing to train as Charge - **On-Call Requirement:** No - **Weekend Requirement:** Yes - every other weekend - **Floating:** May float to like units if needed - **Block Schedule Accommodation:** No - **Local Candidates:** Not accepted - must reside at least 50 miles from facility - **Pending License:** Accepted, but must have license in hand for Auto Offer - **RTO Restrictions:** Individual basis upon offer; all RTO must be included in submission - **Guaranteed Hours:** 60 hours per 2 weeks; traveler may be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks **Unit Information:** - **OB Triage/Testing Capacity:** 5-10 patients - **Labor/Delivery/Antepartum Capacity:** 7-14 patients - **Unit Description:** High-risk labor and delivery unit with: - 10 OB Triage Rooms - 10 LDR Rooms - 3 OR Suites - 4 PACU Rooms - **Average Daily Deliveries:** Around 7, often accommodating up to 14 patients with inductions and high-risk antepartum - **Triage Insights:** OB Triage averages 4-5 third trimester testing patients with an influx of triage patients each day **Facility Information:** - **Type of Facility:** Acute Hospital - **Certification:** Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma, USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska - **Total Staffed Beds:** 407 - **Scrub Color:** Provided - **Charting:** Epic - **Parking:** Free parking for all staff **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
