Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a CA RN license, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring, and 2 years of L&D experience.

Details

  • LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) model unit
  • Baby Friendly designated unit with a Level I newborn nursery (no NICU on site)
  • Night shift, 1900-0730, rotating 36 or 48 hours per week
  • No call requirements
  • Uses Epic, GE Centricity, and Keriton charting systems

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
  • AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
  • Must be strong in maternal and neonatal stabilization
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • OR scrub experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as part of a collaborative care team
  • Coordinate, manage, and delegate patient care responsibilities
  • Participate in shared governance and hospital committees
  • Adhere to all applicable professional, regulatory, and hospital policies
  • Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
  • Candidates with a prior disciplinary action on their license will not be considered
  • No radius restriction, with local candidates paid at the same rate as travelers
