**Exciting Opportunity for Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - **Assignment Length:** 13 or 26 Weeks - **Start Date:** ASAP - **Shift:** 3x12 or 4x12 Nights - **Years of Experience:** 1 year required - **First Timers Accepted:** Yes - **Certifications Required:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - **Skills Required:** - Per Unit Director, Charge Experience preferred or willing to train as charge - **On-call Requirement:** No - **Weekend Requirement:** Yes - every other weekend - **Float Within Scope:** May float to like units if needed - **Block Schedule Accommodations:** No - **Locals Accepted:** No - Candidates’ permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility - **Pending Licenses:** Accepted, but must have license in hand for Auto Offer - **RTO Restrictions:** Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer, all RTO must be included in submittal - **Guaranteed Hours:** 60 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks **Unit Information:** - OB Triage/Testing: 5-10 patients - Labor/Delivery/Antepartum: 7-14 patients - High-Risk Labor & Delivery Unit - 10 OB Triage Rooms, 10 LDR Rooms, 3 OR Suites, 4 PACU Rooms - Average Daily Deliveries: Around 7, with potential for up to 14 patients during inductions and high-risk antepartum - OB Triage: Averages 4-5 third trimester testing patients, with an influx of triage patients daily **Facility Overview:** - Type of Facility: Acute Hospital - Designation: Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma, USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska - Total Staffed Beds: 407 - Scrub Color: Provided - Charting System: Epic - Parking: Free **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
