Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) in Seattle, WA. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced RNs to provide exceptional care in a dynamic environment.
Position / Specialty: L&D RN
Shift: Nights, Either 3X12 or 4X12 is acceptable
Years of Experience Required: Minimum 3 years labor and delivery trained. First-timers accepted if they have 3+ years of L&D experience.
Weekend Requirement: Yes - unless schedule posted says otherwise.
Certifications Required: BLS and NRP required, AWHONN Intermediate preferred.
Call Requirement: N/A
Floating within Hospital: Yes
Floating to Sister Hospitals: No
Open to Accommodating Block Schedule: No - unless posting states otherwise.
Locals Accepted: Yes
Pending License Accepted: No
RTO Restrictions: 1 Week Max, must work the holidays.
Special Notes: This unit is responsible for adult women of childbearing age. It has 7 labor beds, 3 triage, 2 PACU, and 16 mother-baby. Please call out if this traveler does not have Epic experience.
Guaranteed Hours: In the event of low census, healthcare providers may be called off without charge or placed on-call (for standard on-call rate) in 4-hour increments up to 1 shift's worth of hours in a 2-week cycle. For ambulatory or surgical services areas that are closed on weekends and holidays, hospitals will not schedule travelers or meet the minimum during these periods.
