**Join Our Dynamic Labor & Delivery Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) - **Assignment Length:** Choose between 13 or 26 Weeks - **Start Date:** ASAP - **Shift Options:** - 3x12 or 4x12 Nights - **Experience Required:** - Minimum of 1 year in L&D - First-time travelers are welcome! - **Certifications Needed:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - **Skills Required:** - Per Unit Description - Charge experience preferred or willing to train as charge - **On-Call Requirements:** No - **Weekend Requirements:** - Required: Yes - Every other weekend - **Floating Requirements:** - May float to like units if needed - **Block Schedule:** - Not open to accommodating block schedule - **Local Candidates:** - Not accepted - must reside at least 50 miles from the facility - **Pending Licenses:** - Accepted, but must have AK RN license for Auto Offer - **RTO (Request for Time Off) Restrictions:** - Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer - All RTO must be included in submission - **Guaranteed Hours:** - 60 hours per 2 weeks - May be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks **Unit Information:** - **OB Triage/Testing:** 5-10 Patients - **Labor & Delivery/Antepartum:** 7-14 Patients - **Unit Type:** High Risk LD unit - 10 OB Triage Rooms - 10 LDR Rooms - 3 OR Suites - 4 PACU Rooms - **Average Daily Deliveries:** Approximately 7 with the potential for up to 14 patients due to inductions and high-risk antepartum cases - **OB Triage Daily Activities:** Averages 4-5 third-trimester testing patients along with an influx of triage patients each day **Facility Information:** - **Facility Type:** Acute Hospital - **Accreditations:** - Magnet Facility - Level II Trauma - Recognized as one of the USNWR Best Hospitals in Alaska - **Total Staffed Beds:** 407 - **Scrub Color:** Provided - **Charting System:** Epic - **Parking:** Free **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
