We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team at a leading healthcare facility in Edmonds, WA. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care in Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn care.
Perform special procedures including Vaginal Delivery, Cesarean Delivery, and circulating in the OR.
Administer medications and manage IVs, including Blood/Blood Products Administration, Epidural Pumps, and PCA Pumps.
Utilize special equipment for High Risk Antepartum, High Risk L&D, and Low Risk Antepartum/LD.
Ensure patient safety and comfort through effective couplet care.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, including LDRP, L&D, Post Partum, and Newborn care.
Active compact license recognized by all Swedish facilities.
Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP, ACLS (preferred).
Ability to float as needed and work within a staffing ratio of 1:1-3.
