Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Mission Hills, California.
Job Description & Requirements

Assignment Highlights
- Night shifts: 3×12 hours
- Patient ratio: 1:2
- First-time travelers accepted
- Floating between similar units is required
- Free parking available
- Scrubs: Any color; L&D and OR scrubs provided
- Orientation: 40 hours, non-billable
- Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
Your Role
- Provide nursing care to laboring and delivering patients.
- Manage labor and delivery care and monitor maternal and neonatal well-being.
- Circulate for C-sections in the operating room.
- Support safe patient care in accordance with unit protocols.
- Float between similar units as required.
✅ Required Qualifications
- Active California RN license; pending licenses are not accepted.
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
- Current ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NRP, and Advanced AWHONN certifications.
- Valid Los Angeles City Fire Card.
- Experience managing labor and delivery patients.
- C-section circulating experience in the OR is required.
- Epic charting experience is used at the facility.
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at a facility performing at least 200 deliveries per month.
- Experience beyond a teaching-facility-only background.

Important Contract Requirements
- Include all requested time off (RTO) at the time of submission.
- No on-call requirement.
- Weekend requirement is listed as none.
- Block scheduling is subject to manager discretion.
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required; flu vaccine requirements are unknown.
- Candidates must meet the required skills and experience criteria before submission. Strong candidates may be screened if clarification is needed.
