Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – Travel Nursing Contract in Mount Vernon, WA

Join a dedicated Labor and Delivery team as a Registered Nurse (RN) on a 13-week travel nursing contract in Mount Vernon, Washington. This on-site travel nurse opportunity offers the chance to support patients and families through labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period while working alongside an experienced maternal-child health team. Travel RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,700–$2,840

Labor and Delivery RN Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Active Washington State Registered Nurse license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification
• Ability to provide flexible coverage and float between assigned clinical locations as needed

Labor and Delivery Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum transition.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognize changes in condition, and promptly communicate clinical concerns.
• Assist with labor management, delivery procedures, newborn stabilization, and patient education.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the multidisciplinary care team to promote safe, evidence-based outcomes.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, responses to care, and clinical outcomes.
• Support a compassionate, respectful experience for patients and their support persons during childbirth.
