Join our team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Seattle, WA, where you will provide exceptional care in a high-risk, high-volume environment. We are committed to supporting our nurses with the resources they need to thrive in their roles.

As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will be responsible for:

• Providing care to midwifery clients and private OBs, as well as supporting adult recovery services and community care clinics.
• Functioning in the role of Baby Nurse during delivery and continuing care of the newborn until transfer to postpartum.
• Circulating and providing newborn care, including administering vitamin K injections and performing assessments.
• Floating to postpartum and antepartum units as needed, and potentially to sister facilities that offer Mother/Baby care.

Requirements for this position include:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a high acuity and high pace environment; 5 years of high-risk experience is preferred.
• Current supervisory references and proof of required certifications.
• Passing a clinical review is mandatory.
• Experience with electronic fetal monitoring and EPIC HARDSTOP is valued.
• Certifications: Required - BLS, NRP; Preferred - ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate.

The unit features:

• High-risk, high-volume labor and delivery with an average daily census of 15 and 500-600 deliveries per month.
• 31 beds in total, with a schedule posted every 6 weeks to meet unit needs.
