Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring circulating experience and MA licensure on a night shift schedule.

Details

  • Work in the Birthing Unit (Labor & Delivery) of a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule with flexible hours per week options of 36, 40, or 48
  • 36-hour schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts from 7pm to 7:30am
  • 40-hour schedule consists of two 12-hour night shifts plus two 8-hour shifts
  • No on-call requirements
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required (temporary MA license accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required, including circulating experience
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
  • Recent EFM certification required at an intermediate level or higher
  • Certifications must not expire within 30 days of assignment start
  • Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

  • Care for patients in the Labor & Delivery/Birthing Unit
  • Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) certification preferred but not required
  • Perinatal NCC certifications (Maternal Newborn Nursing Level I, Postpartum, or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing) preferred but not required
  • First Latch breastfeeding certification preferred but not required
  • No more than 7 days of RTO allowed during the assignment
  • Local candidates accepted within 50 miles of the facility at a reduced rate
  • Former permanent staff of the facility are not eligible to return as travelers
  • Blue scrubs recommended, though no specific color is required
  • Medical and religious COVID exemptions accepted if included in the application packet
