Overtime Pay: $95/hour (after 40 hours)
Schedule
Shift: 12-hour shifts
Coverage: Weekday and weekend day/night shifts
Scheduled Hours: 36 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Holiday Coverage: Required, based on rotation
Call: Not expected; call rate available if needed

Job Summary
An experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with strong Labor & Delivery/OB experience for a 13-week contract assignment.
The RN will primarily work in Obstetrics/Labor & Delivery and will also provide Med-Surg coverage when there are no OB needs. The RN may also be assigned Charge RN responsibilities as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to Labor & Delivery and OB patients.
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout the shift.
Support patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Provide nursing care in the Med-Surg setting when OB coverage is not required.
Perform Charge RN responsibilities when assigned.
Administer medications and treatments according to orders and facility protocols.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC.
Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and clinical needs.
Follow hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
Requirements
Active RN license – Required
Labor & Delivery / OB experience – Required
Minimum 5 years of nursing experience – Required
Ability to work both OB/Labor & Delivery and Med-Surg
Ability to work weekday and weekend day/night shifts
Willingness to participate in holiday rotation
Ability to take Charge RN assignments as needed
Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
