Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
EMR: EPIC experience is required

Patient Population

  • Neonates
  • Adolescents
  • Adults

Required Clinical Skills

  • External Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
  • Recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart-rate patterns
  • Circulating for C-sections

Unit Systems

  • EPIC — required
  • SBAR
  • Omnicell
  • EMD Allscripts

Required Certifications

  • AHA BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP

Assignment Summary

Specialty: Labor & Delivery RN
Contract: 13 weeks

First-Time Travelers: Yes
EPIC: Required
On-Call: 2 times/month in addition to scheduled shifts
Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts/month (Friday or Saturday nights)
