We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a leading acute-care hospital in Eureka, CA. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns.

As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing care for high-risk obstetrics patients in a culturally diverse population.
  • Circulating on cesarean sections and assisting with deliveries.
  • Meeting staffing needs, which may require floating within your scope of practice.
  • Managing an average daily census of 15-20 patients.

Key requirements for this position include:

  • Current California state RN license (pending licenses not accepted).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
  • Willingness to work weekends as needed.
  • Ability to float to meet facility needs.
  • No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO) restrictions.
