JD Summary
Position: Registered Nurse I – LDRP
Facility: Cibola General Hospital
Shift: 12-hour Nights
Schedule: 36 hrs/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Start: 10/26/2026
Required:
- Active New Mexico RN license or Compact RN license
- BLS/CPR – AHA (or equivalent)
- ADN required; BSN preferred
- LDRP/perinatal experience
- BLS, ACLS, NRP & Intermediate Fetal Monitoring – required
- OPS Emergency Workshop & STABLE required within 12 months
- Skilled in labor support, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn assessment
- Sterile technique/sterile field knowledge
- Pediatric through geriatric patient care
- Must be willing to float to other departments after orientation/training
Preferred:
- SAFER NM Technician certification
Key Duties:
- Full nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation & evaluation
- Labor/delivery/recovery/postpartum care
- Patient/family education
- Newborn assessment
- Supervise LPNs, CNAs and ancillary staff
- EHR documentation
- Interdisciplinary collaboration
- Quality improvement/patient safety
- Float as needed
Must-Haves:
LDRP experience + BLS + ACLS + NRP + Intermediate Fetal Monitoring + ADN + NM/Compact RN license.
