**Exciting Opportunity for L&D Registered Nurses!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery - **Assignment Length:** 13 or 26 Weeks - **Start Date:** ASAP - **Shift Options:** - 3x12 or 4x12 Nights - **Experience Required:** Minimum of 1 Year - **First Timers Accepted:** Yes - **Certifications Required:** - BLS - ACLS - AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced - NRP - **Skills Needed:** - Per Unit Description, Charge Experience Preferred or willing to train as charge - **On-Call Requirement:** No - **Weekend Requirement:** Yes - every other - **Floating Requirement:** May float to similar units if needed - **Block Schedule:** Not open to accommodating - **Local Candidates:** Not accepted - Must reside at least 50 miles from facility - **Pending License:** Accepted, but must have license in hand for Auto Offer - **RTO Restrictions:** Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer. All RTO must be included in submission - **Guaranteed Hours:** 60 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks **Unit Information:** - OB Triage/Testing: 5-10 - Labor & Delivery/Antepartum: 7-14 - High-Risk Labor & Delivery Unit: - 10 OB Triage Rooms - 10 LDR Rooms - 3 OR Suites - 4 PACU Rooms - **Average Daily Deliveries:** Approximately 7, with the potential for up to 14 patients including inductions and high-risk antepartum care. - **OB Triage Responsibilities:** Average of 4-5 third trimester testing patients and an influx of triage patients daily. **Facility Information:** - **Type of Facility:** Acute Hospital - **Recognition:** Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma, USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska - **Total Staffed Beds:** 407 - **Scrub Color:** Provided - **Charting System:** Epic - **Parking:** Free **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
