Description

Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Napa, California.

Job Description & Requirements

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience required.
  • First-time travelers accepted; seasoned travelers preferred.
  • Active California RN license required.
  • Pending licenses are not accepted.
  • Every other weekend required.
  • RTO limited to no more than 7 days.
  • Must be willing to float to Med/Surg and Orthopedics as needed.
  • Call may be required depending on patient census.
  • Royal blue scrubs required.
  • Must be flexible to support changing patient census and unit needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients.
  • Assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
  • Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to the appropriate care team.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Provide care across assigned units, including Med/Surg and Orthopedics when floated.
  • Participate in call coverage based on patient census and unit needs.
  • Follow hospital policies, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards.
  • Maintain flexibility with scheduling, weekend requirements, and changing patient volumes.
