Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). 4x12 schedule available upon request. Patient ratio 1:3. Orientation: 40 hours. Floating to Postpartum may be required. Weekend coverage per unit needs. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

• 13-week travel assignment at a 277-bed acute care hospital
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Guaranteed hours with minimal call-off policy (facility may call off once per two-week pay period)
• Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations including neonates, adolescents, and adults
• Enhanced winter rate period from October 2026 through February 2027

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Postpartum experience is required (hard-stop requirement)
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Preferred certification: AWHONN Advanced
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred; first-time travelers not accepted
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Clean background check required (no exceptions for background findings)
• Candidates within 50-mile local radius not accepted at standard rate
