• Schedule: Primarily day shift with coverage to evenings and nights as needed; every other weekend required; one night of call
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Experience in Postpartum and Newborn Nursery care preferred
• Ability to circulate and support newborn care functions
• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• EFM certification required (renewed every 2 years for Labor & Delivery)
• AHA ACLS preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-acuity maternal-child environment

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care for patients in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn settings
• Support laboring patients, including active labor monitoring and intervention as needed
• Assist with circulating in the OR and supporting newborn care in the unit
• Monitor and respond to patient needs across a busy maternal-child nursing unit
• Collaborate closely with physicians, providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
• Deliver safe patient care while adapting to rotating shifts and weekend coverage
• Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
