Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for high and low-risk labor & delivery patients.
• Manage and document through Epic charting system.
• Float between High-Risk and Labor & Delivery units as required.
• Administer medications, including magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, and PCA pumps.
• Assist with OR procedures such as cesarean sections and D&C.
• Educate and support mothers on breastfeeding protocols and postpartum care.

Qualifications

• North Carolina or Compact RN license in hand.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN, FHM.
• Proficiency in Epic charting system required.
• Experience with high-risk obstetric care and fetal monitoring.
• Travel nursing experience required; local candidates within 75 miles considered.
